Hysteroresectoscopy of fibroids - removal of fibroids using endoscopic equipment inserted into the uterus through the vagina. Indications for surgery are single and multiple submucous nodes no more than 4-5 cm in size. The technique is not used for intramural myomas and large formations. Hysteroresectoscopy of myoma allows you to restore reproductive function, eliminate menstrual irregularities, reduce blood loss during menstruation, prevent further growth and possible malignancy of neoplasia. It is carried out in a planned manner under anesthesia in a stationary setting. Complications are rare. If the patient wishes to restore the reproductive function, hysteroresectoscopy of fibroids is carried out with extreme caution in order to avoid damage to the surrounding endometrium.

Along with hysteroresectoscopy of a polyp, hysteroresectoscopy of uterine fibroids is included in the group of minimally invasive gynecological operations carried out using a hysteroscope - endoscopic equipment inserted into the uterine cavity through the vagina and cervical canal. A distinctive feature of hysteroresectoscopy of fibroids and other operations included in this group is the absence of incisions or punctures in the region of the anterior abdominal wall. All manipulations are carried out through the natural genital tract, which can significantly reduce the invasiveness of the intervention and completely exclude the development of adhesive disease. The absence of a scar in the area of the uterine wall after hysteroresectoscopy of fibroids reduces the risk of complications during pregnancy and childbirth
