Prostate adenoma is a benign neoplasm (tumor) consisting of the connective tissue of the gland and glandular epithelium. The gradual age-related increase in the benign prostate is normal. But in the case of an enlarged prostate in large volume, significant mechanical pressure on the urethra can cause a micturition disturbance.

The high-quality attitude of surgeons from the GATLING-MED clinic and their highly skilled work experience is the most important reason that after the treatment in patients the rehabilitation period goes without complications and at short notice, and besides, there are no risks for further ritsidiv.

Symptoms of prostate adenoma are

  • Acute retention of urine

Diagnosis in the clinic GATLING-MED is carried out by different methods

Cytoscopy. An optical device is used that visually informs about the state of the bladder and urethra.

Procuring (palpation) of the prostate gland, with the help of which its structure and size are determined. The examination is carried out through the rectum.

A biopsy is performed to remove the malignant neoplasm.

The amount of remaining urine after urination is investigated. Also, the degree of change in urination with urodynamic therapy is studied.

A transrectal ultrasound examination - determines the size of the prostate gland. Along with these studies, laboratory blood tests are also actively used to detect the level of the prostatic specific antigen and to verify the presence or absence of acute or chronic inflammation.

X-ray examination (computer tomography) is used to provide the most accurate information about changes in the kidneys.
