Subcutaneous ozone therapy

Subcutaneous ozone therapy

In the wide-profile clinic Gatling Med today, the high efficiency of the use of ozone therapy has been established.

Subcutaneous ozone therapy is a safe and effective method of treatment based on the ability of the ozone-oxygen mixture to relieve spasm, inflammation and pain.
The essence of the technique: subcutaneous (up to 1 cm) injection of an ozone-oxygen mixture (injections with a 0.3 mm needle) along painful areas, trigger points, acupuncture points. This method of ozone therapy has found application in cosmetology for the correction of the face and body. When treating the face with the help of microneedles, a mixture of oxygen and the drug "Medozon" is injected. At the injection sites, the doctor performs massage for better absorption of the mixture by the tissues. The area of influence must be treated with an antiseptic.
The procedure lasts about 15 minutes, after which you cannot touch your face for three hours. Requires 1-2 courses per year, 10-12 procedures with monthly supportive injections. For the face, masks and massage oils based on ozone are also applied.

To combat cellulite and localized fatty deposits, ozone is injected into the subcutaneous fat at a dosage of 500 ml. Areas to be treated - buttocks, thighs, abdomen, sides. If cellulite is neglected, it is recommended to combine ozone therapy with massage. Ozone liquefies dense fatty deposits, which are then excreted in the lymph flow. In the same way, they fight scars and stretch marks, because the production of elastin and collagen is stimulated at the sites of ozone injection.
Subcutaneous ozone therapy is highly effective for muscle spasms and headaches.
In neurology, ozone is used for:

• Tunnel syndromes;
• Myofascial syndrome;
• Vegetovascular dystonia;
• Migraine;
• Diseases of the peripheral nervous system;
• Neurological manifestations of spinal osteochondrosis;
• Hernias and protrusions of intervertebral discs with pain syndrome

Subcutaneous ozone therapy does not require special training. As a rule, the manipulation is accompanied by moderate pain for several minutes at the injection site. On the day of the procedure, it is recommended to refrain from going to the shower, bath or sauna. Usually, patients can feel relief almost immediately after the course of treatment; to achieve the effect, 5-7 procedures are recommended in 3-4 days.
Contraindications for subcutaneous ozone therapy are:

• Exacerbation of chronic diseases
• Individual intolerance
• Bleeding of any origin and bleeding disorder
• Overactive thyroid gland
• Hypoglycemia
• Organic pathology of the brain

It is not recommended to carry out the procedure for children, pregnant women, as well as for people with a perennial heart attack less than 6 months ago.
