Gradual ulcerative colitis is accompanied by rectal bleeding, which occurs due to small ulcers. In acute disease, frequent stools can reach up to 20 times a day. In the initial stages of this disease, constipation may occur due to spasms of the sigmoid colon.
As for pain, they are aching in nature. Pain usually occurs 30-90 minutes after eating. But with the development of the disease, this dependence disappears.
