Labiaplasty is a surgical operation to change the shape and size of the labia minora and labia majora in order to restore their aesthetics and eliminate congenital or acquired defects.

Labiaplasty of the labia is indicated for too large, small or asymmetrical labia, which greatly complicates the sexual life, causes aesthetic discomfort and physical inconvenience, for example, interfere with walking, cycling.

Labiaplasty is performed under local anesthesia. The duration of the operation is about forty minutes. Hospitalization is not required.

Labiaplasty of small lips, as well as labioplasty of large lips, is performed in two ways:

Surgical - with the help of a scalpel, excess tissues are excised and the labia are given a physiologically correct and aesthetically attractive appearance. Among the disadvantages of this method include postoperative scars remaining at the site of surgical intervention. The operation is performed under general or local anesthesia.

Laser labioplasty - reshaping of the labia is performed using a laser beam. The laser beam cuts the tissue while coagulating the vessels, which reduces bleeding. During laser surgery, there are no scars or cosmetic sutures at the sites of exposure. The operation is performed under local anesthesia
