Diagnosis and treatment of lipomas, in other words, wen Lipomas are located in the subcutaneous intermuscular tissue, skin, lungs, bones, brain tissues, in the organs of the gastrointestinal tract, and myocardium. It mostly occurs in females between the ages of 30 and 50. An increase in size is not associated with the state of the body, since even with depletion, lipomas continue to grow. Diagnosis is carried out in 2 ways: differential examination of malignant neoplasms; X-ray - the use of long-wave X-rays.
Treatment is carried out only by surgery, and in the presence of the prevalence of lipomas, surgical intervention is difficult. The localization of the lipoma and the increase in the size of the lipoma are the main indications for surgery.
Atheroma. Treatment and diagnosis
In most cases, it is localized on the scalp, representing the appearance of a dense rounded formation. The size of atheromas varies, but most often it is no more than 3 cm and does not cause pain when touched. Do not postpone a visit to the doctor after atheroma has been identified. Otherwise, pus and inflammation may form, and there is also a risk of blood poisoning. In the presence of such forms of complications, the doctor opens and eliminates suppuration.
Treatment is only surgical. Atheroma is a subcutaneous formation and it is completely forbidden to squeeze it out, this contributes to an increase in the size of the pathology.
Removal of atheroma is performed quite painlessly under local anesthesia. The ducts and capsules are excised and the process of suturing takes place.
Ingrown toenail treatment
An ingrown toenail is quite painful. Occurs when the nail plate grows into the nail fold on one or both sides. Treatment of this type of pathology is both conservative and surgical.
Conservative treatment gives only temporary results and the risk of recurrence is high. In connection with this factor, the most optimal method of treatment is surgical intervention, which is performed at stages 2 and 3 of an ingrown nail. The operation is performed under local anesthesia and the duration depends on the complexity of the procedure, although the operation usually takes about 20-30 minutes. The area of operation is treated with sterile linen and local anesthesia is performed. An incision is made in the nail plate, where the surgeon will remove the ingrown part of the nail with a laser or with a radio wave scalpel. Finally, a tight bandage is applied and the patient is allowed to leave the clinic.
Postoperative healing takes a long time and lasts for a month.
